Miss TP Dube – She possesses Masters in Business Administration from Mancosa, Honours in Accounting Science Degree from UNISA. She studied her Accountancy Bachelor’s Degree at Wits University and she finished that on time. Thandeka is a registered member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). She has extensive experience within the following fields: • Financial Accounting • Managerial and Finance Accounting • Taxation • Auditing She served part of her Articles with BDO one of the reputable Accounting Firms in South Africa. She has worked for reputable companies like CQS – Owners of Caseware Software where she was an expert in supporting all the users of Caseware within South Africa. She then relocated to Durban and she joined Perspectives on of the small accounting firms in Durban. She obtained great experience in dealing with small and medium clients. She prepared the set of financials for various clients. Monthly VAT returns and various income tax returns were her field of specialisation. Seeking for growth as a young and enthusiastic individual she was approached to join TNT Infrastructure Solutions which was a project management close corporation which implemented projects on behalf of IDT and its clients. She was tasked and entrusted to deal with all the financial accounting issues and management of projects. She has worked for KZN Film Commission as a Financial Accountant from 2016 and later she provided consultancy services to the public entity with specialisation in Financial Management including Asset Management, Preparing Financial Statements, Revenue and Debt Management and policies thereof. She has proved to be a reliable individual who has performed her tasks with minimal supervision thereby assisting her superiors to concentrate on more strategic matters than to supervise her. She has used her theoretical experience to practise to ensure that she excel within all her deliverables. She joined the organisation and reported to the Financial Manager (FM). She has done a great job to ensure that all reports she produces are accurate and in compliance with GRAP standards and other relevant prescripts. She has been involved in the Budget Process of the Entity. The funded budget was approved and submitted to the Provincial Department for Approval to ensure that the entity carries out its mandate. She has been involved in analysing the monthly expenditure so as to report accordingly to management. She has also produced monthly financial statements and other financial reports. She prepared a set of Annual Financial Statements for 2016/17 without assistance of her Superior FM as she resigned before the start of new financial year. The AFS were submitted to Management and the Audit Committee for approval and no material adjustments were made. The Auditor General was also happy of the AFS received from the entity. She contributed to the maintenance of the good audit opinion from the Auditor General. Thandeka is currently busy with her Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) which will enable her to write Qualifying Exam (QE) 1 and 2 in order to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA) SA. Thandeka is a principled lady. She is able to contribute towards the strategic goals of the organisation and she works hard to ensure that she delivers as expected and beyond. She has assessed various internal controls and implemented good controls through policy development and standard operating procedures. She is good at interpreting various Acts which assist the organisations to develop their own policies.

Ms Simangele Dube possesses experience of more than 20 years with the Commerce Industry. She has an Honours in Accounting Science from UNISA. She served articles with one of the Big 4 firms – PWC. She completed her articles in 2004. She is a registered member of South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) from 2005. She then joined Ernst & Young as the Accounting Supervisor. She was recruited by Transnet as a Middle Manager in December 2004 – Key Accounts Manager. She was tasked to manage the Management Accounting staff. She prepared all financial reports for the Port of Richards Bay. She relocated to Durban to join one of the reputable organisations – South African Revenue Service (SARS). She had a team of 10 auditors who were tasked with various tax types and the auditing for various clients from individual to medium firms or companies. She has worked for Tourism KZN for almost 6 years as a Financial Accountant. She has experience of developing policies from various prescripts. She also contributed to the implementation of various internal controls. This assisted the entity to obtain unqualified audit opinion for years. She worked for KwaDukuza Municipality as a Director: Budgets & Compliance which was in charge of Assets, Budget Preparation and Monitoring and Reporting (Preparation of Monthly Reports and Annual Financial Statements). Ms Simangele has also worked for TNT Infrastructure Solutions as the Head of Finance. She was assisting the organisation with strategic matters on the financial side. She contributed towards the good management of various projects of IDT and its clients. She prepared financial reports for clients for the submission to the funding departments. Ms Simangele is currently working with Bonakude Consulting as a Manager seconded to Newcastle Municipality to render a scarce skill of Assets Management within the Municipality. She has been there for more than 2 years while she was only contracted to assist for 6 months. The exceptional work she has delivered has ensured that her contract be extended as recommended by the external auditors. She is heading the Assets Management Unit.

Ms Thandekile Mkhize, has over 20 years of experience in financial management and accountancy. Ms T Mkhize joined BCS in June 2020. She has vast experience in public and private sector. Under Bonke of the Municipalities she has worked on it’s the Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality where she was tasked with preparation on annual financial statements for 2019/20. She has worked at the South African Revenue Services (SARS), as Collections Administrator where she was tasked with collecting outstanding returns and follow ups on tax matters. She has broad administrative experience and skills including cashflow management, customers and supplier reconciliations. In 2019 she worked as an internal auditor at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in the Supply Chain unit which included review of: • Audit of bids- panels and quotations • Audit of quotations R200k – R500k • Consolidation working papers and supporting with appropriate evidence • Attending to review queries and reporting • Handing over of client information
